HB 748 (Concur)
Establish sunrise and sunset review of all occupational licensing requirements
In its original form, HB 748 (sequence 335) would have established the Occupational Licensing Review Act, which would have required that the governor and legislature conduct a robust review of each occupational license annually, as well as a review of each proposed new occupational license. The version passed and signed by the governor, HB 748 (sequences 1195 and 1318), removed the review of new licenses and significantly changed the review process for existing licenses, making the process less robust, but still worthwhile.
